Pete Lemke

Pete spent over 30 years building, leading and ultimately selling his well-regarded and nationally recognized Retained Executive Search business (EFL Associates).

EFL Associates successfully recruited well over 4,000 executives, including numerous President/CEOs, for a variety of commercial, industrial and not-for-profit organizations during his tenure. After retiring from business in April , 2010, his strong interest in entrepreneurism and business leadership led him back into “the arena” through providing business advisory services to small emerging growth businesses. He currently serves on three corporate boards and continues his affiliation with the Enterprise Center of Johnson County (ECJC) as an Entrepreneur in Residence.

Pete’s unique leadership experiences include Chairman of the Board assignments at: The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City; The Enterprise Center of Johnson County; and The American Royal Association. Additional Board assignments in the past included John Knox Village; Treasurer of the City of Mission Hills, the Civic Council and CSG Partners/Lee Hecht Harrison. With particular skills in leadership, human capital management, executive search and corporate development, he is particularly well-suited to the Advisory Board practice area offered by The Capitus Group.

Pete holds an accounting degree from Coe College and an MS in Human Resources Management from George Washington University.
