Dave Raden

Dave has extensive experience in the management and nurturing of rapidly expanding businesses, which include organizations that range from start–ups to multi–billion dollar revenue companies.

Dave’s experience includes working in sales with American Hospital Supply, consulting with Arthur Andersen, and starting up several entrepreneurial ventures. Dave has additional experience consulting with companies ranging from small businesses to large Fortune 100 entities. Dave was also the former CEO of Plastic Packaging Corporation, a flexible packaging manufacturing company, where over a 20 year period he was responsible for the expansion and sale of the business. Under his leadership, Plastic Packaging Corporation earned numerous accolades including state, county and city awards for commitment to family and outstanding civic contribution.

As a Principal of Capitus Group-his specialty is working with privately held businesses to increase corporate value and prepare for a successful ownership transition. This includes intergenerational transfer, MBO, LBO and external sale.

Dave is also currently the President of the Bi-State Investment Group I (an angel venture capital fund), a co-owner of Heartland Airplanes LLC (a dealer⁄broker of private⁄corporate aircraft), and the owner of Tucker Arms LLC (dealer⁄broker of specialty firearms).

His education includes an Accounting degree with additional engineering coursework from Kansas State University as well as an MBA with both finance and marketing specializations achieved through the University of Michigan and the University of Missouri. He has been an active investor and board member in several entrepreneurial ventures. Some examples of community involvement include board and leadership positions with organizations such as UMB Bank N.A., the Kansas City, Kansas Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas State Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas City, Kansas Business⁄Education Coalition, the Blue Valley Education Foundation and Community LINC.
