Capitus Group is pleased to have represented Teri Rogers in the sale of her Crossroads headquartered company Hint Video Productions to Overland Park, KS-based digital agency, DEG. According to lead partner on the deal, Cam Bishop, “This deal was a true win/win for both parties and the merged businesses have fantastic upside. And, we enjoyed working with Teri, her team and the management team at DEG.”
DEG, one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the country, has bolstered its creative service offerings by acquiring Hint, a Kansas City-based creative content and experience design shop.
Formerly Take Two Productions and T2, Hint has established itself as one of Kansas City’s premier creative and production companies, working with national and global clients such as LinkedIn, Uber, Sprint, Puma, and more. Hint was founded by Teri Rogers, a leader in the Kansas City creative community throughout her 26 years leading the direction of Hint.
“This acquisition has the potential to both dramatically transform how we engage with our clients’ customers and enhance the work we’re able to produce,” said Neal Sharma, CEO and Co-Founder of DEG. “Hint’s outstanding reputation, as well as Teri’s leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, will be invaluable as we continue to evolve creatively and strategically and define the new model of agencies in the future.”
Hint uses customer insights to tell its clients’ stories through video and creative content, experiential design, and digital development. The 11-person team will work as an integrated part of DEG’s creative team, allowing for greater creative opportunities for clients across all of DEG’s service offerings.
“This collaboration between DEG and Hint is a perfect fit as our strengths and expertise complement each other so well,” said Rogers. “Our creative content and storytelling capabilities, backed by DEG’s extensive data and digital strategy, will allow us to drive greater results and more powerfully impact our clients’ work. It’s a win/win for us and for our clients.”
As a result of the acquisition, DEG now has 212 associates, with 191 in its Kansas City-based locations and 21 nationwide.
